After the storm

The "largest typhoon to hit Tokyo in the past decade" hit hard last night, but started to calm down late in the morning.  By the afternoon , all traces of the bad weather had cleared.

Took this from the top floor of my office building – hard to believe that just hours before it had been pouring rain and gusting like crazy..

Abstract

No, I didn't use the liquefy tool in photoshop for this shot 😛

One of the nice things about my vacation was that when I went out with my family, I was more relaxed, in a better frame of mind to experiment occasionally.  Though I'm back at work now, I hope I can continue doing so.

This photo probably looks like a swirly mess, but regardless, I think it's important to try to see things differently, so I consider this practice towards that goal.  🙂

Reflective

Had the chance to join a D&C event today that included +Trey Ratcliff  !  It was my second time meeting him, and he was just as friendly and down-to-earth as ever.  Trey's actually the one who got me on G+ 2 years ago when he was giving away invites, back when G+ was still invite-only.  I was lucky enough to get an invite, and have been here ever since.  🙂

Big thanks to +Google Japan  for organizing the get-together, we got to meet some of the awesome people behind Google+, including +Vic Gundotra    , all the way from California!

It was a great evening.  🙂

Peace~

I visited Singapore for work last month but unfortunately only had part of a day off, so didn`t have much time to explore.  🙁
I ended up visiting the Gardens By the Bay, a pleasant (and more importantly, COOL) place to spend a few hours admiring the gardens and do some people-watching.

Got a few shots that I liked that day, but I thought this was the most fun 🙂
