The "largest typhoon to hit Tokyo in the past decade" hit hard last night, but started to calm down late in the morning. By the afternoon , all traces of the bad weather had cleared.
Took this from the top floor of my office building – hard to believe that just hours before it had been pouring rain and gusting like crazy..

Crazy! We had 20 cm of snow in my town today! I think your typhoon mixed with Hokkaido's cold to make for a nasty, super early winter storm!

And just a few days ago I recall reading something about sakura suddenly blooming in Miyagi. I think the weather around the world is getting rather freakish. 🙁
