This was taken during the snow flurry that hit last week when I stepped out for lunch with camera in hand to try and catch some snow shots. I didn't stay out very long (too cold, and holding an umbrella in one hand while trying to shoot with the other is not easy), but this security guard around my building caught my eye.
On one hand, he is obviously taking his work seriously since he's patrolling in the snow, but on the other hand, there also seems to be an air of… melancholy, or dispirited-ness.
Maybe he's just very tired.
