With the chilly and rainy weather we've been having, this photo seemed appropriate – an ideal summer spot that's also showing a hint of the approaching coolness of autumn/winter.
Another shot from my Miyakejima trip, you can see the silhouettes of the Sambondake reefs off in the distance. I didn't have a chance to get out there, but I'm told that they're a great location for ocean fishing.
This will be my last photo upload for a few days due to an unexpected business trip that's suddenly come up. I will still be able to check out G+, just a bit more sporadically, and I won't have a chance to post any photos at all (at least until after I return to Tokyo this weekend).
Now, I've got to pack and get to bed, another 5AM wake-up tomorrow…
