Reflections over Tanukiko

Hard to believe it's been so long since my last post but, as usual, work is to blame..  🙁

Finally had the chance to look back in the archives today and pulled this shot out from the trip to Tanukiko.

Pity, I had cropped this shot to 16:9 aspect ratio, but it looks like G+ doesn't allow that to fully display in the stream.  I'll have to remember to avoid doing this, or try putting a border along the top and bottom next time..

Off to bed now, work tomorrow morning – g'night from Tokyo!

Our Favorite Photographers in Japan

I'm so excited to share "Our Favorite Photographers in Japan" Circle Version 1.0. The 158 wonderful photographers in this circle are all based in Japan and active on Google+.

This is how this circle has been created:

I asked Google+ers to name three of their favorite photographers based in Japan. These were the rules.

1. G+ Photographers based in Japan (Any nationality is acceptable).
2. Those who mainly post photos.
3. Those who you think post wonderful or cool or breathtaking or whatever photos.
4. Those who post on Google+ regularly.

If you like to know more about Japan, add these people and yes, just enjoy their post!

Whether you're just starting in photography, or looking for a little motivation to keep on going, this is well worth 16 minutes of your time.  Some great advice and encouragement, and a reminder that pretty much everyone starts out in the photography business with not much more than determination and grit.
