Had the chance to join a D&C event today that included +Trey Ratcliff  !  It was my second time meeting him, and he was just as friendly and down-to-earth as ever.  Trey's actually the one who got me on G+ 2 years ago when he was giving away invites, back when G+ was still invite-only.  I was lucky enough to get an invite, and have been here ever since.  🙂

Big thanks to +Google Japan  for organizing the get-together, we got to meet some of the awesome people behind Google+, including +Vic Gundotra    , all the way from California!

It was a great evening.  🙂

Tokyo Street Lights

I have more time to go though my photos now that I`m taking some time off to spend with visiting family.  Actually just came back from an overnight trip, and drove back through the city.  Since I`m not a frequent driver (owning a car is not really necessary for daily life in Tokyo), it`s always with some trepidation that I get behind the wheel on Tokyo streets.

Still, we made it in one piece, lived to drive another day (^^;

Walking the straight and narrow

A common sight on the streets of Ginza on a weekend.  However, this weekend may see fewer pedestrians out and about with the typhoon Man-yi heading our way.

Looks like tomorrow may be a good day to stay home!

Docodemo Door?

I was so curious as to who actually lived here.. do they actually use this door?  Or does it serve as the home's "emergency exit"?  A "treehouse" equivalent in a verdure-challenged city?  I think it's more fun to wonder than to actually know the reality.  🙂

Biker cat

I know I posted this one to the #GPlus2YearAnniversary  group album before, but I wanted this in my own album as well since I rather liked it.  Plus, I was taking care of 4 cats this weekend, so it seemed fitting.

This weekend went by too fast… Monday again, and time to head off to work.. (T_T)

Ducks in a Row

Not sure how well this photo works.  I feel that there's a lot of distraction from too many elements in the image.. but I went ahead and processed/uploaded because I liked the ducks.  😛

And yes, it's another from the #Gplus2YearAnniversary  photowalk!

Jinrikisha

Yes, another one from the #GPlus2YearAnniversary  photowalk.  Almost finished going through them though.  (^^;

I've seen these "jinrikisha" around the Asakusa area, but though it looks like fun, I've never tried it riding in one myself.  I know it's odd because it's their job, but I would always feel sorry for someone who had to pull me around!
That, and it's a little expensive…
