So how was your weekend?

Me… I went lazy – at least on Saturday. After crashing on Friday night around 9PM(!) and sleeping for nearly 10 hours straight, I chose to spend all day at home on Saturday (except for a very brief walk/bike ride to photograph stuff for my 366 project).

Not only was I lazing about at home, I was a bit of a glutton… I made and devoured 3 pizzas single-handedly. Yeah… I know… I'm trying to lose weight and this does absolutely nothing towards that goal, but sometimes… you just gotta have pizza.

Sauce/toppings were whatever I happened to have handy in the fridge.

No spectacular photography here (in many cases I was balancing the bowl/tray in one hand while holding my camera in the other hand so many shots turned out blurry), but hey, it was fun – and tasty.

I now return you to your regular programming, and will resume my 366 shots tomorrow. 🙂

    +Shereen Yeoh , it's not that impressive honestly – that recipe I linked is so simple, and as for toppings, almost anything goes (though I am partial to the tangy tomato sauce/herb bases) 🙂

    I got the Healsio model a couple of years ago, but honestly I don't use half the functions… just the regular "oven" function is good enough for the pizzas, cakes, cookies, and pies that I make 🙂

    Nice! Can you roast a chicken in there? I miss having an oven. I used to bake and roast a lot in Canada. Not having an oven is my excuse for not cooking in Japan 😉

    Yes, I have roasted an entire (small) chicken in there, complete with stuffing 😀

    Oh yum! I totally love pizza, though I have never attempted to make one from scratch.

    As a youngster I felt a close association to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles not because of their martial arts skills but for their love of pizza 🙂

    Did you know that I lined up for an hour at a pizzeria in Brooklyn just to taste their much-ballyhooed pizza?

    Anyway, your handmade (hand-tossed?) pizza looks absolutely delish!

    Ha +Beverly Claire Kaiya , I also would envy the TMNT for the same reasons (not just the martial arts skills, but because they always had pizza)!

    How was the pizza in Brooklyn? Worth the 1-hour wait? One thing on my bucket list is to get to Italy and NY one day and try a pizza there. If the pizzeria you waited for was worth it, I'm putting it on my list! 🙂
