One of the things I've been enjoying about the #creative366project is the stuff I notice after a shot has been taken. When I took this shot, I was just looking at the pillars receding into the background, and was waiting for the train to pass by to add another element of interest. However after I got home and looked at it on the big screen, I noticed that the reflections on the wall and ceiling also added yet another fun element which I tried to bring out in my conversion to B/W.
So – one month down! Hard to believe that January is already over… While 11 months seems like a long time to go, given how quickly this month has gone by, I have a feeling we'll be reaching the end of the year far more quickly than we'd like it to…
Good night from Tokyo!

Love it, +Jeff M – the perspective with everything receding into the distance, the train, but as you rightly emphasized, the reflections add a real depth to the shot.
Great shot.
ooh… reflections. me like. can never get enough of shiny, reflective surfaces.
really nice, we have one addiction in common : reflections
I particularly like the reflections on the ceiling.
indeed, i'm sure this year will be at an end before any of us realize it! why does time always pass more quickly?
I love reflections, especially surprise ones =) Oh the exception being that image circulating of a very shiny kettle. . . being photographed by a nude man!! Shudder & lol
Apologies for the late response to your comments everyone – yesterday was a pretty long day 🙁
Appreciate your kind words +Ellie Kennard , +Lina A. Gugliotti , +Shereen Yeoh , +scry mettety , +Ursula Rodgers , and +michelle vitard – It sounds like we all have a shared fascination with reflections!
+hikaru starr , I've found that as I get older, time always seems to go faster. I'm definitely at the point where I wish I could go back to those teenage years where I felt that time never moved fast enough!
+michelle vitard , I was tempted to start searching for the image you describe, but you know… I think I'll pass on that – not something I need embedded in my brain 😛
LOL When I first took an image of my shiny new espresso pump, my husband said he was happy I chose to photograph fully clothed ;D The other image is quite scaring as in classic internet style he is overweight and hairy!!
Ugh!! +michelle vitard , you are doing better at making me picture the image than my seeing the image itself! 😛
LOL that's the intention =P
