Just a quick shot taken while wandering the streets of Chinatown with visiting friend "M" and +Claire SK . It was a crazily cold and windy day (like, 30kmh winds!), so the "purple ninja" (aka "PN") was wise indeed to bundle up like this :p
From a self-critiquing perspective, I do feel that the background almost overwhelms PN. I did consider cropping a little off the top, but then I'd lose the lanterns which I felt were important to the identity of the location (ie Chinatown). I wish I could reshoot this from a better angle… but I guess them's the breaks in street photography.
It's Friday – I am looking forward to the weekend and being able to sleep in!
