Have just come back from a full day at Nikko with +Jeff Austin , +Agustin Rafael Reyes , and +adithya anand . Some great pictures were taken, and I got to see parts of Nikko I had never been to. I'll be slowly adding to this album over the next few days, but for now I need to sleep since we got up at around 03:30 this morning to beat the crowds to Nikko!
Oyasumi all 🙂

Awesome shot! Great great composition! Sounds like it was a fun time, I'm looking forward to more from you guys.
Brilliant shot!
Woo!! Fantastic shot 😀 I'm looking forward to the rest of them, next time I'm coming with!!
Wow, got up around 3:30 in the morning? Hope you didn't get stuck in traffic…;) For me I gave up going to Chuzenji-ko, so I envy you could get there and take such a great shot!
hey +Jeff M this one is fantastic!
Wow! this is so beautiful – I love the composition. What is the wooden structure? My curiosity is piqued as I look at the wood posts stretching out in the lake with the rocks in between. The blues and greens of the lake with the ripples and shadows is so tranquil. I never visited Nikko while we were living in Japan, but at a Tokyo shrine sale picked up a wooden plaque from there that has a large sleeping cat and a temple (It's now hanging in our hallway here in UB!). Now whenever I look at it, I'll think of this scene.
Wow. Nice picture with cool composition!! I'm looking forward to see your another pictures!! And Good night & Good morning when you read this comment!!
Thanks for the +1's and shares +Darren Kowitt , +Jennifer Boesch Fricke , +susan jaramillo!
+Mark Esguerra , thanks, I'll definitely put up more soon, and I know you'll see more great stuff from the others as well 🙂
Thanks +Rich Grundy and +Alejandro LF !
+Yumi Shoji , yes it was a little crazy to get up that early – I guess that's the best thing about going with others, you can encourage each other to be a little crazy 😉
Thanks +Joanne Yu , definitely wish you could have come too, but I hope you had a relaxing time with hubs yesterday – maybe next time just drag him along too – he could be your tripod carrier 😉
+Peggy M , it was some kind of dilapidated pier – I've seen lots of cool dock/pier shots on G+, and so I went over to see what I could get. Even I was surprised at how well it turned out! Definitely one of those instances where you find that you can discover something new, even in places you've been to before. 🙂
+Hidetaka Onoyama Arigato! (and ohayo) 🙂 I'll be out for most of the day, but I'll put more shots up as soon as I can!
wow it turned out great!!
Amazed you were able to process an image so quickly, and do such a great job with it. You took your time shooting it and that shines through on your final image. Great work looking forward to more Jeff!
Thanks +Jeff Austin – I wouldn't have been able to take this picture if you hadn't driven us all there to begin with!
It was also one of those lucky shots that needed very little post-processing – not quite as fast as Alfie's 10 min rule, but I think I was done in about 15-20mins max 🙂
And thanks +Agustin Rafael Reyes – looking forward to your shots too!! 😀
Wow. The water looks so clear. This is absolutely beautiful!
Thank you +Takahiro Yamamoto – we were lucky to have a wonderfully clear day 🙂
great one! its been a while since i went there. have to make it there soon since it seems everyone has been going there of late!
Thanks +Ontoshiki Vun ! Hope you get a chance to go there, though I know it's tough finding the time to go to all the places you want to…
Nice … really! Lots of ways to give praise for this photo. Thanks for sharing.
Nice depth to the photo. Well done.
Thanks +Bill Wells & +Mark Seymour, appreciate your comments! 🙂
It's Chuzenji Lake, in Nikko Japan 🙂
Amazing water! Love the colours! Where is this?
It's Chuzenji Lake, at Nikko, Japan 🙂
Nice. It looks amazing there. I'll have to try and make it up there next spring. (I'm down in Osaka btw)
I've actually never been to Osaka despite 10 years in JP – and this year was my first time to Nikko! :p
Very nice!
Thanks +Hidehiko Sakashita !
