Moth Skipper

Yes, just a photo of a -moth- skipper butterfly 😛

Taken just before joining the D&C group on Saturday, unfortunately rather low quality since I didn't have my macro lens on my D800 and had to take this with the X10.

Still, the little guy (girl?) is kinda cute.  🙂

G'night from Tokyo!

Settings: X10 on super macro mode / f2 / ISO100 / 1/125s

Cool! I love how it pops out of the background like that.

    (although actually I think it's a skipper)

nice shot, you could try 1:1 – I think it could be better composition (if you have original RAW file)

    +ali andres , I had no idea you were a lepidopterist!  😉
But searching for "skipper" makes me think you're right, so I changed the title.  😉
