This should be an easy flower to identify, care to take a guess? 🙂
It was also extremely frustrating to shoot because I was doing it handheld (we were in a enclosed garden), and I didn't have a tripod handy. Lots of grumbling, but I finally managed to nab a non-blurry shot.
Good night from Tokyo! 🙂

Gorgeous!! One of my fave flowers.. A Morning Glory!! ?
Thanks for the kind words +Joanna Kolokitha , hope others like it too 🙂
+Marilyn Benham , yep, you got it! 😀
One of my favorites too! Several years ago at one of the shrines, saw an exhibit with morning glories as big as saucers. Then we went to Oz and would you believe that there they are considered weeds and you'll find nary a one for sale. Later we spotted a lone intruder bravely growing at a school and I so wished I could have gotten one of the seeds 🙂
+Peggy M , maybe you can ask some of your friends there to ship you a couple seeds 🙂
That's when we were in Oz. Here, nothing will stand up to the wind that blows off the ocean…the poor morning glories would be in mourning 😛
+Peggy M , I was thinking you could use them in LA 🙂
yep, on my list…but think I'll wait til we get there as J3 and J4 are having enough trouble keeping up with the grass 🙂
