Afternoon constitutional

Yet another one from the #GPlus2YearAnniversary  photowalk.  (I must say I got quite a few shots I liked on that day!)

This was taken just outside of Yanaka cemetery.  It's a great place to walk around and get people shots; I took another photo around this area during the sakura season that I really liked as well, and the whole area seems to have a temple or shrine on almost every corner.

It's a 3 day weekend, yay!  But I work on Monday still… (>_<).  But hopefully only a half day, so it's still a 2-and-a-half-day weekend 😉

Goodnight from Tokyo!

I'm digging this shot +Jeff Matsuya! And I feel your pain about work. I rarely get to enjoy the 3 day weekends. But I think that also just means it's time to call out sick on Monday. He he he. ;-P

Thanks +Mark Esguerra !  Did you visit this area during your trip here?  Though it's a cemetery, it's quite lovely during sakura season, and peaceful all year round.  If you like like shrine/temples, you'll get your fill in this area for sure.

As for Monday work, yeah it's not much fun, but I'll be happy if I can wrap things up by lunch – then I can enjoy the rest of time off 🙂

+Jeff Matsuya Actually yeah I have been there. But I don't remember if it was the recent visit or a previous trip. He he. I guess that just means I should make it a point to go there the next time around. I'm rooting for you to get things done early on Monday pal.

Thanks +Mark Esguerra !  I hope you have a good weekend too, with no work 😉

+Jeff Matsuya Actually, I'm at work right now! He he. But luckily working weekends means I only answer to myself. ;-P

    Ouch, working now +Mark Esguerra  ?  🙁
Hope you can take an alternate day off later..
Midnight for me here in Tokyo, I'm off to sleep now, good night 🙂

+Jeff Matsuya Yup, working hard to be able to buy a plane ticket to Tokyo. He he. Have a good night man!

love the photo and will put this on our 'places to visit' when we go.  Think I'd like to get myself one of those walkers…nifty!

Ah, that's the reason you're working weekends +Mark Esguerra – to get your ticket to JP AND buy new camera gear 😉

+Peggy M , luckily when you visit, it will be a little cooler.  I was in the area yesterday (actually not too far from Shimada), but the heat makes walking around not much fun 🙁

+Peggy M , The walker thing reminds me of the 'dog strollers' they sell here.

+Tish Winton  our daschund would love that…he's almost 10 and such a wimp – but an endearing one 🙂

Are you in my son's photo circle, or did you see this because you're in my circles?  I haven't had a chance to check the new G+ settings; plan to do it when we visit our son who's the tech wiz 🙂  Have to confess I don't check my G+ often and rely on email notifications from those in my circles. I need to learn how to set notifications so I don't miss those that I want to see.

I'm not in your son's circle but can't remember exactly how I came across it.
I've had my notifs set all along, but I installed a battery saver on my tablet and it turned them off.  Hence part of the reason I'm so scarce these days!

Hope you are having a great…whatever season it is over there right now.  🙂

+Tish Winton Hi, Tish…it's monsoon season here…unbelievable rain…comes and goes throughout the day.  We can see it rolling in from the ocean and it rolls right across town to the other side of the isle…nice if you're inside; really wet if you're not, and I've been caught outside a few times 🙂
    Have a great weekend.
