This was another long exposure (a bit over 3 minutes long) that I took around the Fuji 5 Lakes area. I believe this was at Yamanakako.
I'm especially happy with this shot because there was so little post-processing needed – basically just an adjustment of the white balance (original had a very green color cast).
This was also taken shortly before my camera suffered a bit of an unfortunate accident. During my trip to Miyakejima, the tripod (with camera attached) toppled over with a loud crash while I had my head turned the other way. When I picked it up I could immediately see that the lens was unnaturally extended, but I managed to pop it back together and I hoped that was that.
However, I took it in to the Nikon Repair Center in Ginza yesterday for cleaning and a check up, and it turns out that the camera body (D90) focus ring is slightly bent, and the lens (my wide-angle 16-85mm) itself has had some bits jostled about internally so that apparently one half of the lens focuses correctly, while the other half will be out of focus…
Cost of repairs (which I haven't done yet) are estimated to be about JPY14,500 for the body, and JPY33,000 for the lens. Ouch. >_<
Both are still usable, so I haven't sent them in for repairs yet because I have upcoming photowalks! I'll definitely have the body fixed soon, but may hold off on the lens since the cost for repairs will be about half the price of a new lens..
Anyway… hope you enjoy the photo as taken before my camera's unfortunate accident while I figure out what to do.. (^^;
Photo details: f11 + 10stop filter/ISO 200/3 min exposure.
PP: adjustment of white balance (the 10stop Hitech ND filter tends to introduce a green color cast)

Tokyo-based photographers – photowalk tomorrow with +Dave Powell and +Vincent Mo (November 29)! 🙂
(I'll be working until 7PM but I will try to join after that)
Reshared post from +Dave Powell
Google+ Photowalk in Tokyo on Tuesday 11/29/2011 5PM
UPDATED: We will meet at 6PM….
The Google+ Photos team is in Tokyo. Join me and +Vincent Mo as we explore Tokyo for a few hours with our cameras. We will be staying on for some food and drinks afterwards. We will be meeting up at 6PM at Roppongi Hills in Tokyo under the 10 meter tall Giant Spider 'Maman'. A great excuse to get out of work a little early and enjoy the lovely fall weather we are having.
Photographers and Tokyoites – Please share but ask people to indicate back on the original post if they are coming…

Every year for the past 3 years the Tawoo taiko musicians have performed at RFTC, and they had another amazing series of performances yesterday after the run. I wish there was some way to share both a video clip and album photos, but it doesn't look like G+ allows this (yet?).
Still, I did record one of their performances, and uploaded it to youtube (link below). Apologies in advance for the low quality and occasional blur – a tripod/monopod is really needed for video recording!
