When I went to Tokyu Hands in Shinjuku with S a couple of days ago to look at what they had in the way of things I might need when moving, I saw this and just had to take a picture of it. Apparently it’s a “Head Trip” and it belongs to Happy!
It’s nothing more than a… multi-pronged copper…head scratcher? I tried it myself and to be honest, it’s not all that comfortable – the metal is cold, and even though I have thick enough hair, it was still more “painful” scratchy than “comfy” scratchy (so this is most certainly nothing a bald person would want to try). I would have bought it just for the novelty, but at 2,000+ yen, I passed. It’s an interesting doodad, but… more chuckle-worthy than practical I think. 😛

Reminds me of when Uncle J was younger (maybe 20 years ago) and Granddaddy told me Uncle J, who has (had) very thick hair, used a dog brush to brush his hair. Today, Granddaddy has a full head of hair, while Uncle J…well, doesn’t!
I wonder why UJ, who’s so much younger than GDad, had that happen… Kinda hoping it doesn’t happen to me in the future (>_<;;
Is that really supposed to be a head scratching device? o.o;
When I saw that I could’ve sworn Ive seen it somewhere so I looked around youtube…

Around 2:40 it appears… But I don’t think it works as well as it should XD
Wow, you’re right – that does look like the same thing! I wonder how that got all way on to that show in the US..
When playing around with it myself though, it feels like soft copper, more akin to something used in a science experiment than as a head scratcher. :p
As long as you don’t use a dog brush – or a Happy Head Trip – I’m sure you’ll have no problem keeping all your hair way into old age. Your great-G’daddy, had a full hair of hair when he was in his late 80s, just like G’daddy today. UJ wasn’t quite so wise 🙂
Can you believe that last weekend, I was out in a t-shirt and Jason got sunburned three days ago…it’s been snowing the past two days!
One suggestion for links on your blog…fix them so they open in a new window 😉
