Apparently there's a tsunami warning out for the coast along the Tohoku area. Expected to be small waves (around 20 in in height) but if you're in the area – don't be close to the coast!

UPDATE: tsunami warnings also issued for areas along the east coastal areas of Hokkaido.

Well, they expected a 5 meters tsunami last year and…
At least this time the quake was much less, I barely felt it. But yes, definitely don't want to stay near the coast!
They tell it is a M6.8 but it was a bit too big for even a M7… I guess it is because it is close to the surface but it seems bigger than they say, we felt it from hokkaido to Yokohama
I didn't feel a thing. Everyone safe?
The quake earlier was just a little wobble, the one about an hour ago I DEFINITELY felt – the street sign I was standing beside was swaying back and forth.. rather disconcerting. Fortunately, all seems ok.
The second was Ilt was rather big but not long… But it shook at 5+ at the Tokai Mura nuclear plant. It was already shut down since last year so I guess it is okay.
