Fellow photo buddy (aka Sir Holian) and I met up last weekend to do a bit of location scouting for a photography course we're taking. ย For a newbie like myself, location scouting is a little trickier than my usual shooting process because one has to get used to visualizing how a model is going to look, what locations are both visually interesting yet not too distracting, take into account the type of light available, etc.
All in all good practice, made all the more fun when in the company of a very serious photographer such as Sir Holian. ย I mean, you can see how serious this guy is right? ย ๐
Actually, another benefit of hanging around with this dude is that I'm gradually getting used to being on the other side of the lens – I've never been very comfortable with having my picture taken, but watching this guy model so effortlessly is helping me relax a bit as well. ย
These were some of my favorite shots from that day. ย ๐
