After…. goodness, almost a year, it looks like I’m finally ready to move! I concluded part 4 of my “Apartment Hunting” series of posts by mentioning that I had found one potential apartment. And… I found out on Tuesday that the last obstacle (guarator documents) went through successfully so I will be getting it!There will be more writeups about the application process (mostly involves a lot of waiting on my part) and of course the move! As a heads up though, since the move will be happening THIS WEEKEND (ohmygoshthatslessthanaweekaway), blog posts may be a little infrequent for a while…
So much to think about, to buy, to pack, to arrange… Ze money, it vanishes before my eyes!! 😯

Yes! So happy for you 🙂
Please send me your new address in English and Kanji asap! Please do not lift any heavy stuff and hurt your back.
Don’t forget to stop by IKEA in Minami Funabashi =p
I found that there’s one in a place called Shinmisato, which is only 30 min away by train from where I’m moving to. And even better – a Costco will be opening there (in Shinmisato) from July apparently! 🙂
=o… A costco? 30 minutes away?
That just means your housewarming party is gonna big chunk of roast beef cooking in your balcony.
Take pics and send when you have a chance…can’t wait to see your stuff in your new digs. Let me know if you want a breadmaker…will send you $$$ to get one locally. 🙂
I don’t eat much beef these days – maybe a big chunck of bacon instead. :p
Don’t worry, I’ll be updating the blog as things progress – will be other writeups about the application and moving process! 🙂
(and don’t worry about the breadmaker – I might get one… but AFTER I get the necessities and see if there’s still space left over :p
