Hi and welcome to njmatsuya.com!

I’ve never been one for “blogging” – have had this domain name and hosting space for several months now without doing much with it.  However, I will try to make an effort to use it to share events with family and friends from this year onwards!  Guess that’s another thing to add to the New Year’s resolutions list :)

Finally, if there are any topics on Japan that visitors would like me to comment on/take pictures of, let me know and I will try to do so!

…oh, I guess I should also include something “about” me..

Um, I’m Jeff…26 years old last year (no WAY… I’m only 4 years away from 30?), living in Tokyo, Japan.  I enjoy reading, walking, helping others, jogging, fiddling about with computers (though I lack any specific skillset – going to try to work on that this year), and am abysmal at Japanese (my fault..) >_<;
I’m more comfortable with a small group of people rather than many (so what am I doing in Japan??), so I generally don’t mix and mingle too much – you’re not likely to find me in Roppongi or Shinjuku!  Will take a good book over clubbing anytime ;)

Oh, and I am NOT photogenic, so until I manage to get a reasonable picture of myself, no pics of me on this website!!
